WELCOME TO international AUGUST EXECUTIVES CONFERENCE
"August Execs" is an annual late-summer gathering of the Aleph Zadik Aleph's and B'nai B'rith Girls' highest-elected teen leadership (Teen Delegate) and professional staff (Staff Delegate) from across the BBYO community. During the conference, we train on skills, strategies and tactics for the year ahead as a united Movement. As core leaders, we're challenged to focus on planning how to further the depth of chapter and community programming, expand AZA & BBG's reach through membership and involvement, and how to most effectively make the world a better place. Together, we will launch the agenda for the 2018-2019 Program Year for AZA, BBG and BBYO.
August Execs will be held at Capital Camps Retreat Center in Waynesboro, PA, USA from Thursday, August 9th - Sunday, August 12th, 2018. Teen Delegates will be staying onsite at camp and most Staff Delegates will be staying at a local hotel.
COST OF PROGRAM
Teen Delegates - please ensure that you have credit card information ready at the time of registration. If you require funding support to attend, please work collaboratively within your community to find or receive subsidies. Staff Delegates do not pay a registration fee.
- United States Delegates - $400.00 USD
- Canadian Delegates - $340.00 USD (15% Discount)
- Delegates from outside the United States and Canada have individualized costs (included in your invitation)

Registration for International August Executives Conference takes place collaboratively with the teen leadership (Godol, N'siah and/or other designated delegate) and designated BBYO Professional in each community (designated professionals were identified through a previously distributed 'save-the-date'). Please schedule a video call or in-person meeting to walk through August Executives Prep Meeting #1. Registration needs to be completed by Monday, June 11th. The Registration link is provided within this meeting agenda.
In the coming weeks, you'll receive additional requests to identify session preferences, share a little bit more about yourselves and all Teen Delegates will need to update a Camp Docs profile. Be sure to schedule your pre-Execs meeting (video call or in-person) to talk through August Execs Prep Meeting #2.
Arrival: Flights should be booked into BWI (Baltimore-Washington International) Airport on Thursday, August 9th. Please plan to arrive by 3:00 PM EST. Amtrak is also an option at BWI if preferred. All delegates will meet at the Southwest Airlines baggage claim.
- Some teen and professional staff delegates have been invited to attend August Execs early for a variety of reasons. You would have already received an email invitation with updated arrival information for the following opportunities:
- PVOT (Professional and Volunteer Onboarding Training) for New BBYO Professionals
- Intensive BBYO Leadership Orientation + Community Building for International Delgates
- Leadership Retreats and/or Meetings
Departure: Flights should be booked out of BWI (Baltimore-Washington International) Airport on Sunday, August 12th. Departure flights should not be booked before 3:00 PM EST.
Please book your travel as you are able to keep all costs down. Travel needs to be submitted by Friday, June 15th. Once you have booked your travel, please submit it here.
